ageofempires.xyz is a volunteer fan site for players who love the Age of Empires games. We have no official connection with Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios or the studios that develop the games. The Age of Empires name and the game images belong to Microsoft Corporation and are used on this site in line with Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules.

Turkish patches and language files

We made or collected the patch and language files on this site for older versions of the games that have no official Turkish support. They are not official files. We recommend backing up the game's original files before you install anything. A patch can break when the game is updated, and may even stop the game from starting. We check the files before publishing them, but we cannot guarantee that they will work on every computer. Installing and removing a patch is your responsibility.

Cheat codes

The cheat codes listed on this site are built into the games and are used by typing them into the in-game chat. We do not share external cheat programs. The codes work in single-player games and scenarios and are usually disabled in multiplayer matches.

News and guides

We write update news by summarising the official patch notes published by the developers. A detail may be left out or reported incorrectly along the way, so check the official announcement for exact information. Strategy advice in the guides is based on the author's own playing experience.

Tools

The villager and cost calculators, the civilization comparison page and the build order assistant work from the game's known values. Any new patch can change those values. Treat the results as approximate; the actual values in the game may differ.
